Local Appreciation Key West

Many restaurants and bars encourage us to come in and visit by offering local deals and appreciation specials in Key West.

We are thankful for that and take advantage when able.

The following are some Key West local deals and specials we have seen and are aware of.
(As always, reach out if you know of any deals not on this list that should be added. Thank you.)

These deals are strictly for the locals.

Milagro Restaurant and Bar

Milagro offers a 25% discount on your bill starting April 21st, 2025, as a way to show appreciation and give a little local love!

The 25% local discount is a great incentive to sample your favorites from their menu and maybe even try something new.

How about treating yourself to one of their tequila flights? Or upgrade to a premium bottle of wine for that special occasion.

This could be the perfect time to explore Milagro’s offerings with your local discount.

Please note that their special offers usually exclude happy hour.

Square Grouper Key West

Local’s Lunch Happy Hour at the Square Grouper Key West starts on Thursday, May 1st!

Their Local’s Lunch will include 20% off your ENTIRE check, every Thursday through Monday from 11 am-2:30 pm! This even includes brunch on the weekends!

I guess that means I’ll be in soon to try out that Crabby Bloody Mary.

P.S. This promotion is for dine-in only, & please bring a local Monroe County ID!

Pickles Pub

New Locals Happy Hour with drink specials at Pickles Pub.

Sundays from open to close (12-2 am)

$3 domestic bottles and drafts
$6 Jai Alai drafts
$4 well drinks
$4 house wines
$6 orange crushes (orange vodka, triple sec, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a splash of sprite)
$4 whatever they want to get rid of

Blackfin Bistro

Sunday Brunch at Blackfin Bistro is served on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and features a menu with well-received selections.

All food on the brunch menu is 50% off for locals if you arrive early, from 9:00 to 11:00 (Sundays Only During Brunch). They kindly ask you to have your local ID ready to show.

Enjoy Blackfin’s fabulous new menu featuring your soon-to-be favorite Sunday Brunch items. We enjoyed the Breakfast Royale and Hangar Steak Eggs Benedict!

But seriously, how could anyone turn down the Wagyu burger (one of the island’s best) at 50% off?

Winslow’s Bungalows

One of the Key West Historic Inns properties shows locals some love with 25% off food and drinks.

Swing by the Bungalow Bar. That is where they serve sandwiches, salads, cocktails, beer, wine, and more.

They open at 11 a.m. during the week and 9 a.m. on weekends.

If you like live music with your food and drinks, the Bungalow Bar at Winslow’s offers it on Thursdays and Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m.

Closing time is at 7 pm daily.

This local deal is ongoing. You can enjoy it throughout the year.

Sunset Pier

Isn’t it the best when you find out that a Key West local deal is good for the whole year?

Sunset Pier is very generous and appreciative of the local support it receives. In return, it is giving back a bit of that local love with 25% off food and drinks throughout the year.

The only exceptions would occur when there is an occasional special event or concert.

This is something to cheer about! So cheers to you and them!

Sunset Pier features spectacular views, daily live music, and a close-up seat for the nightly sunset celebration; I’ll see you there!

Don’t forget your local ID!

Southernmost Beach Cafe

This is another local deal that continues throughout the year. Thank you, Southernmost Beach Cafe, for appreciating the local community.

Dine by the sand while looking out onto the water at the Southernmost Beach Cafe any time of day, and as a local, you can take 25% off food.

I’ve used this discount at breakfast and will return to try out other things that interest me. Perhaps you will find some that work out for you.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and happy hour are all represented at the Somo Beach Cafe.

The location is hard to beat, and the discount is a bonus.

Bob’s on Margaret

Bob’s on Margaret offers a 20% discount to locals with ID all year.

It is in Old Town and is open from 5 to 10 p.m., except on Wednesdays.

One Duval

One Duval at the Pier House is offering a 20% local discount.

This is available for the entire check and is valid all day.

Stop by and enjoy 20% off for locals at breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

It sounds like a good time to try some remarkable-looking plates from here.

Broil

This excellent steakhouse up the road on Cudjoe Key gives back to locals on Thursdays.

On Thankful Thursdays, Broil shows its appreciation for full-time residents with ID.

At that time, locals can save 20% off their entire check.

I have thoroughly enjoyed a meal there and am itching to get back.

They also run specials frequently that will entice you to come in.

Seven Fish

If you dine at Seven Fish, you can get a 20% discount off your check.

This local appreciation deal is good year-round; you must show your local ID.

They are not open on Tuesdays, and their hours are from 6-10 pm.

Key West Legal Rum Distillery

A local drinking and purchasing special is available with ID at Key West Legal Rum Distillery.

Enjoy 50% off all drinks any time, every day of the year. I popped in for a Pina Colada cooldown one hot afternoon.

With a local discount, you can save $8 off bottles of rum.

If you have time, don’t miss the free distillery tour, samples, and chance to learn to make your own with the mojito class.

  1. No local discount for April 2025.
Looks like Alonzo’s local discount is discontinued, even though they have it on their website and is updated this year. Spoke with the manager, she said it needs to be removed, just haven’t got around to it yet.
