Key West Local Dining Specials

Local appreciation season is here, and restaurants across the island are running Key West Local Dining Specials to say thanks to residents. Most run from late spring through September, though some start earlier each year.

These are locals-only specials, ID required. Savings can run up to 50% off, so it’s worth checking back as new ones roll in throughout the season.

Looking for deals open to everyone? Check my Key West Summer Dining Specials guide instead.

Double-check that a special is still active before you go; some restaurants aren’t great about announcing when deals end.

Seven Fish

Seven Fish locals’ appreciation deal is back and is currently running through their annual September break. : 50% off food, every day (closed Tuesdays) with a valid Monroe County ID.

Auto gratuity applies; reservations recommended through OpenTable or by phone.

Milagro Restaurant & Bar

Milagro offers a 25% discount on your bill, as a way to show appreciation and give a little local love!

The local discount is a great incentive to sample your favorites from their menu and maybe even try something new.

Please note that their special offers do not include happy hour, holidays, or other promotions

Thirsty Mermaid

Thirsty Mermaid is running their locals special again this year: 50% off an exclusive locals-only menu, Monday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m., starting June 22.

The menu shows full prices, but locals pay half. I’ve only made it in for happy hour so far, but it’s always been good.

Southernmost Beach Cafe

Southernmost Beach Cafe is part of the Southernmost Beach Resort, and locals get 25% off food and drink every day through September, at both the cafe and the resort’s Pineapple Pool.

Kids 12 and under eat free ice cream at the cafe with an adult purchase through August 16.

I’ve eaten at both the Beach Cafe and the Pineapple Pool and enjoyed each visit. Hard to beat the location.

La Crêperie

La Crêperie serves traditional French crêpes and café fare in Bahama Village at 300 Petronia Street.

Locals get 20% off through November 1st; mention it when you order.

The discount doesn’t apply during happy hour.

Square Grouper Key West

Local’s Lunch Happy Hour at the Square Grouper Key West.

Their Local’s Lunch will include 20% off your entire check every Thursday through Monday from 11 am to 2:30 pm, including brunch on the weekends.

Try out the crabby bloody mary. It’s both tasty and fun and quite the showpiece.

This promotion is for dine-in only, & please bring a local Monroe County ID.

Grand Cafe

Grand Cafe is one of my top three favorite spots in Key West.

The historic house setting is beautiful, and the menu backs it up: surf and turf, crab cakes, steamed clams, carpaccio, and bruschetta.

Right now, they’re offering 50% off pasta, seafood, and wine through the end of July for Monroe County residents and military ID holders.

Dine-in only, reservations recommended, call them directly.

If you time it with their happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m., you may be able to combine the two (half off drinks and appetizers).

Red Shoe Island Bistro

Red Shoe Island Bistro is a quaint little spot tucked away on Petronia Street, offering locals 20% off from July through September.

Seating is limited to keep that intimate atmosphere, so reservations are a good idea if you want a spot.

Cafe Sole

Cafe Sole is a fine dining spot known for fresh seafood, especially their hogfish. Locals get 20% off from 5 to 7 p.m.

I tried the conch carpaccio once: an excellent appetizer, and a unique take on a Key West classic.

Open Tuesday through Sunday, 5 to 9 p.m., closed Mondays and in the month of September.

Antonias Restaurant

On Summer Break (June 28th – July 12th).

Antonia’s is showing some local love ❤️ with 50% off a select menu, Monday through Thursday, during regular hours.

The menu includes upscale Italian dishes like escargot, littleneck clams, branzino, and braised beef ravioli, so even at half off, it’s a step up from your average happy hour.

I haven’t been myself, but the word is it’s upscale, romantic, and the food holds up.

Hank’s “Hair of the Dog” Saloon

Drinks are on tap at Hank’s this Summer. $5 across the board (domestic beers, well drinks, sangrias, Super Lytes), all day every day all summer, local ID required.

That’s a strong everyday deal.

Key West Cooking Show

Key West Cooking Show blends a dinner show with a history lesson, chefs demonstrate Conch cuisine while you eat, with Bahamian, Cuban, Spanish, and New England influences.

Locals get 20% off ticketed shows, cocktail classes, Key Lime Pie Shop purchases, and non-happy hour items at Bar 1.

Monroe County ID required in person, can’t be combined with online discounts.

Broil

Broil is a wood-fired steakhouse up on Cudjoe Key. Every Thursday is Thankful Thursday: full-time residents get 15% off the entire check with a valid local ID.

I’ve had a good meal there and plan to get back; they run other specials throughout the week, so it’s worth checking before you make the drive.

Pickles Pub

Pickles introduces its Locals Night Summer Series, Wednesday nights 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., through October 1.

Food specials ($1 wings, $4 tacos, $10 nachos, $10 burger) and drink specials ($5 Too Turnt Teas, $5 Deep Eddy, $7 El Bandido tequila, $6 Jai Lai draft, $5 Fireball).

Eat-in only with local ID.
