Azur Restaurant Key West

Have you heard the news? Azur a beloved restaurant nestled in the heart of Old Town Key West kicked summer off with its enticing $12 Summer Lunch Special menu.

See why this restaurant should be your next stop if you’re looking for delicious small lunch plates that won’t break the bank.

Azur offers tempting $12 small plates on their summer lunch menu from noon to 3 pm, Monday through Friday.

Dive into the refreshing Beef Carpaccio, consider the clammy goodness of Linguine Vongole, or perhaps start with the addictive White Bean Hummus. I had all three and would order them again.

Don’t fret if those don’t do it for you. There are nine different menu items to choose from and even add-ons to enhance your plate, such as chicken, steak, snapper, or crab for a few dollars more.

• Gnocchi Alla Bolognese – Potato gnocchi, beef ragu, parmesan
• Crab Gazpacho – Cucumber, tomato, red onion, petite croutons
• Rigatoni con Cozze – Mediterranean mussels, spicy Calabrian tomato broth
• Red Quinoa Beluga Lentil Bowl – French beans, root vegetables, golden beets, honey-thyme
• Linguine Vongole – Little neck clams in white clam sauce
• Cous-Cous Salad – English cucumber, red onions, beefsteak tomato, flatleaf parsley
• Bacalao Croquetas – Black-eyed pea salad, cucumber, fermented lemon aioli
• White Bean Hummus – Flatbread, feta valbreso, greek salad
• Beef Carpaccio – Baby arugula, parmesan, truffle salt

Not around for Azur’s lunch special? No worries!

You can stroll into Azur at 5 pm, just in time to treat yourself to their dinner menu that runs until 10 pm nightly.

If you are seated between 5 -7 pm you can take 25% off your entire check. A great summer value!

And to help you save a little more Azur has signature Martinis available for $10 each between 7-10 pm nightly.

Martin’s

The other afternoon I was out for happy hour at Martin’s. I was surprised when Sarah handed me a card stating that they were offering a Local and Tourist Special!

Beginning September 3rd everyone is invited to Martin’s and can receive 20% off of the entire bill (food & drinks). This deal is valid from 6 – 10 pm every day.

This summer dining special will continue until October 3rd.

With such amazing food and impeccable service, Martin’s is usually the place to be.

The menu is spectacular and you’ll see why Martin’s is a local and visitor favorite. Here are a few of the small plate options available.

These plates are my go-to. Anytime you see me there these won’t be too far behind.

Grilled Lamb Chops, Shrimp & Scallop Skewers, Tuna Tataki.

La Te Da

La Te Da, an upper Duval Street mainstay, is thrilled to announce the return of its Summer Special.

Known for its charming sophistication, cabaret, fun bar overlooking Duval (with an interesting morning crowd), and delectable cuisine, the restaurant opens at 6 pm and invites diners to take 30% off Dinner Menu Entrees Monday through Thursday.

This Key West summer dining special encompasses a variety of local favorites. The entree menu stars hearty and flavorful dishes to please any palate.

As for the main courses they include

• Meatloaf – Exotic mushroom sauce, mashed potatoes, and chef’s selection of vegetables
• Stuffed Chicken – Airline breast stuffed with prosciutto & asiago cheese, finished with Dijon mustard cream sauce
• Crispy Lacquered Duck – over caramelized orange glaze, with roasted Yukon gold potatoes and broccolini
• Sauteed Key West Yellowtail Snapper – Brown butter and capers, mashed potatoes, chef’s selection of vegetables
• Baked Crab Cakes – Citrus beurre blanc, orzo with basil cream, and grilled asparagus
• Filet Mignon – Over a mushroom marsala cream sauce, with mashed potatoes and asparagus

Fresh Homemade Pasta is also available as an entree and includes the following

• Spaghettini di Pomodoro – Plum tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil
• Mediterranean Spaghettini – Roasted red peppers, baby artichokes, grilled eggplant, extra virgin olive oil, and parmesan cheese
• Pappardelle Bolognaise – Lamb/Veal bolognaise sauce
• Shrimp Scampi – Sauteed shrimp tossed with tomatoes and lemon garlic butter served over spaghettini

Salute! On The Beach

Dining on the beach has never been so good. Salute! On The Beach has brought back its Summer Special featuring 50% off main menu entrees.

Sunday through Thursday beginning August 1st from 5-7 pm you can order an entree from the main menu (not daily specials) and only pay half price.

I previously enjoyed filet mignon, grouper cakes, and yellowtail plates during the summer special. They were all fantastic!

Celtic Conch Public House

The Irish have decided to share some of their fabulous luck and amazing food specials with us this summer.

Celtic Conch offers a daily plate special priced at $18 from Sunday to Friday until they run out. Their hours are from 11 am to 11 pm.

Sunday – Shrimp Po’Boy with fried shrimp served on a roll with lettuce, tomato, special sauce, and a side of fries
Monday – Corned Beef & Cabbage with potatoes and carrots
Tuesday – French Dip with tender beef, melted cheese, au jus, and side of fries
Wednesday – Steak Burrito on a flour tortilla, with skirt steak, rice, and beans. Served with pico and sour cream, and a side of chips
Thursday – Pasta with marinara, sausage, peppers, and onions
Friday – Sausage, Pepper, Onion, and Cheese Grinder with coleslaw and a side of fries

If you are local ask about a 10% discount and everyone should inquire about the Drink Specials.

Here’s to Summer at the Celtic Conch! I’ll most likely be there for the French Dip and Steak Burrito with a cold Guinness in hand.

Rams Head Southernmost

At the entry to Bahama Village on the corner of Whitehead and Petronia Rams Head Southernmost is waiting to welcome you with Food, Fun, and Beer.

Besides that, they have announced some Key West Summer dining specials for you to enjoy.

Mon – Thurs 10 am – 8 pm, Fri – Sun 8 am – 11 pm. Not sure how this changes early bird breakfast during the week.

Why not start with the Early Bird Breakfast Special for only $10?

That is all you need to grab something to eat from the daily breakfast menu between 8 am and 10 am.

Choose from the following

• Two Egg Breakfast – with a choice of meat, home fries, and toast
• Ham & Cheese Omelet – with toast, and home fries
• Egg & Cheese Croissant Sandwich – with home fries
• Chorizo Egg Tacos – with home fries.

Also included with your breakfast is free coffee and if you like you can consider an upgrade with the BOGO mimosas that are available for $10 more.

Sundays during the summer at Rams Head invites you to join in for Burger night! You can grab half-priced burgers and $5 drafts after 5 pm. Another great offer that is available for everyone.

All Summer Long (I know that song) Rams Head has an extended happy hour Monday through Thursday from 4 until 8 pm. It features $4 beers (drafts and domestics) and $2 off wines and liquor.

I have been to this breakfast several times and enjoyed the mimosas with the ham & cheese omelet and the croissant sandwich. A side of bacon for example is $4 if you want to add on to your plate.

If you are lucky enough you will have Gretchen or Konstantine serving you. They were great!

Onlywood Pizzeria (Duval)

Wine drinkers, we have an exciting special for you.

This generous deal has been ongoing since June and anyone is welcome to take advantage.

Onlywood invites you to savor some delicious wines this Summer along with their fantastic plates. Monday through Thursday you can get 50% off all bottles of wine priced up to $100 after 7 pm.

Big Cheezees Pub and Grub

Hey Key West, have you heard about the very tasty midweek special that you can get at Big Cheezees? Many people, (including me) come out of the woodwork and make an appearance on Wednesdays.

A lot of people (points finger at self again) like to double dip. Mixing this special which runs in the summer with happy hour makes it hard to think of a better combination.

Happy hour is from 3-6 daily and you can find more information about that and others on our Key West Happy Hour Guide.

Every Wednesday you can try the amazing Big Cheezee’s Smashburger with fries for only $9.96!

This particular burger is one of the best on the island. Juicy, packed full of flavor, dripping deliciousness (you will want to have those napkins close by).

These are not my thoughts alone, many others I have eaten with or that have had this hump day special share the same sentiments.

This Smashburger is quality and is one of those Key West summer dining specials that you don’t want to miss.

Ocean Grill & Bar

Over in Duval Square (Upper Duval) Ocean Grill & Bar has some lovely drink specials going on this Summer.

During Brunch you can enjoy Bottomless Mimosas & Bloody Mary’s for only $7.95. An extraordinary value in my book.

Brunch is every day from 10 am til 3 pm.

Not to be outdone by their early special they are also offering another at dinner.

From 4 in the afternoon until close while dining you can opt for Bottomless Wine by the Glass for $14.95. Again Ocean Grill & Bar is offering tremendous value!

These are for house wines and they do say that they have many varietals of red and white to choose from.

These specials along with free parking and a large menu with many options could make this your next brunch or dinner outing.

Mary Ellen’s Bar & Kitchen

On Wednesdays, we are fortunate in Key West. Mary Ellens offers further proof that summer specials can be quite special even if they are held midweek.

Every Wednesday at Mary Ellen’s is Filet Day! A glorious day to head on over to Applerouth Lane and see what the fuss is all about.

You can put in your order for an 8-ounce filet with french fries topped with a luscious garlic peppercorn sauce for only $19.

Yes, you can get steak & frites for lunch or until late so long as they don’t run out for less than twenty dollars. You also get to hang out with Livi which is always a bonus!

This summer special is one of my low-key favorites. I like to drop in for a hearty carnivorous lunch and an ice-cold beer.

There are always some interesting characters around. After all, you never know who you are going to meet at a bar in Key West.
