Everybody’s favorite season is upon us. The temperature becomes more pleasant, leaves turn color, palm trees sway, and sports bars in Key West will get a little busier.
In Key West, the upcoming season is about Fantasy Fest, Local Specials, Hurricane Parties, Stone Crab, and Football!
College football starts first, on August 29 and the first full Saturday on September 5. The NFL opens Wednesday, September 9, and the first full Sunday is September 13. Key West is on Eastern Time, so the kickoff times you see quoted nationally are the times they start here.
Quick Answers
Which Key West bars carry out-of-market NFL games? Brady’s Irish Pub, Mary Ellen’s, Geiger Key Marina and Tonio’s all have advertised NFL Sunday Ticket. Rick’s Bar and Mac’s Place both advertise every game, every week. Pickles Pub and Jack Flats usually have multiple sports options like the NFL, NCAAF, NBA and NHL.
Where can I watch hockey in Key West? Pickles Pub carries a bunch of games. The season opens September 29.
Where can I watch Premier League soccer? Pickles, Brady’s and Jack Flats would be the best choices. Not for the 7 am games though, most places won’t open until 11.
Do Key West sports bars run game-day specials? Most do. Island Dogs has run a happy hour menu during every NFL game, Rick’s puts out free hot dogs Saturday and Sunday during games, Mac’s Place runs food and drink specials.

October is the heaviest month of the year for televisions on this island. Football is in full swing, the entire baseball postseason runs through it, hockey opens, and the Premier League plays every weekend. The World Series starts October 23, which puts the first three games inside Fantasy Fest week.

Philadelphia Eagles. Celtic Conch Public House. All the Philly and Flyer games too, and a crowd that turns up for them.
Miami Dolphins. Half Shell Raw Bar. Every Dolphins game, a football bites menu and draft specials at both bars.
Buffalo Bills. Don’s Place. Nineteen televisions, a Sunday crowd that has been coming for years, and a potluck.
Florida Gators. Dive Bar Shirt Club Grub House, on the projector screen, which is the right setup for a crowd watching one game rather than eight.
If your team is not on that list, the question is which bar has the Sunday Ticket rather than which bar loves them. Start at Pickles Pub, Brady’s, Mary Ellen’s or Rick’s.
Where to Watch Football Games in Key West
- For an out-of-market team: Pickles Pub, Brady’s, Mary Ellen’s, Rick’s, Mac’s Place, and up the Keys, Geiger Key and Tonio’s.
- For one game with a crowd: Celtic Conch, Don’s Place, and Dive Bar with its projector.
- For eight games at once: Pickles, Rick’s and its wall of screens, Jack Flats, Irish Kevin’s.
- When half the group does not care about football: Four Marlins at The Reach, Southernmost Beach Cafe, or Dante’s, where there are pools.
- College Saturdays Dive Bar is the Gators room and the projector makes it the best college setup in town. Looe Key Tiki Bar runs college on Saturday and the NFL on Sunday off the same game-day menu.
Jack Flats
This bar is on Duval and features 19 TVs with big screens, cold AC, ample seating, comfort food, and drinks. Football, basketball, baseball and soccer all turn up on the screens here. I was even there for a horse race one year.

Pickles Pub
Pickles has 40 HD TVs, 40 beers on draft, and two full bars with all your favorite eats on the menu. Don’t miss the wings or the pickle shots while the game is on.
You will never miss a game at Pickles, as they offer NFL, NCAAF, NBA, and NHL packages.
Last season they aired the international games and opened at 9 am with a few bar and kitchen options to get you going.
What to eat with the game: You must go with the wings. Honey Old Bay to be precise.
Mac’s Place
Indoor and outdoor TVs with full sound, discounted domestic beer buckets, other drink specials, good game-day eats, AND plenty of parking away from the madness of Duval Street. Every game on every network all season long. Game-day food menu and drink specials.
Gametime eats: I’m going with the sliders or the wings
Mary Ellen’s and Bad Boy Burrito
Grab a seat at Mary Ellen’s, which has 13 TVs, Sunday Ticket, and usually offers food and drink specials. Bad Boy Burrito has run the kitchen since April 2026.
Gameday order: a burrito, or tacos obviously. And the grilled cheese. Have you seen that cheese pull?
Brady’s Irish Pub
Watch every NFL game all day at Brady’s with the NFL Sunday Ticket and game-time specials. It stays a pub rather than turning into a stadium, with classic pub food and a good spot for the Premier League too.

This Front Street location often has game day specials including a happy hour menu available during all NFL games on food and drinks.

This spot down at the bight proudly offers beer, wings, and football. Bonus points for the video game arcade.

Celtic Conch Public House
This bar carries all of the Philly games and packs in a crowd. Eagles Sundays are the busy ones, and the Flyers are on here too. When the Phillies make the playoffs, October is a different room than September. Full menu, live music, good pub atmosphere.

Join in on Sunday Funday at Dante’s, with football on all TVs. Cool off with a dip in the pool at halftime.

The Florida Gators bar, with football on the projector screen. That setup makes it the right room for a crowd watching one game rather than eight. Don’t forget the tacos, burritos, and queso. Happy hour 4-6 if you’re catching an afternoon game.

Located on Front Street near Mallory Square, this saloon offers 11 TVs and usually has some good game day specials.

Half Shell Raw Bar
Cheer the Dolphins on at the Half Shell Raw Bar. They show every Miami Dolphins game and offer a football bites menu and draft beer specials at both bars. They also took Best Raw Bar and Oysters at the 2026 Bubba Awards, four years running, so the oysters are not an afterthought while the game is on.

Alonzo’s Oyster and Patio Bar
Get ready for gameday at Alonzo’s. They already serve your football favorites: chicken wings, soft pretzels with beer cheese, and 1/2-lb avocado bacon burgers. Get busy on those bites while watching the game down at the harbor. Drop into Alonzo’s proper or the Patio Bar.

Flatscreens to watch the game down near Mallory Square. Salty Frog’s is in on game-day action and sporting events, with plenty of cold beer and good appetizers.

The always happening bar shows all football games and has no shortage of libations. Not the fanciest of places, and not trying to be. Plenty of character, and a Key West favorite for good reason. You can count on them for a laugh with the best meme posts on their social media.

Don’s Place
The Buffalo Bills bar, off Duval. It has potlucks, a local feel, and crowd. The tiki bar is outside, with cold air conditioning inside. Don’s Place has also been taking care of its loyal customers, who gather every Sunday to watch their favorite teams on one of the 19 televisions.

Irish Kevin’s
Catch a game at this mainstay crowd favorite on Duval, featuring 19 TVs and all of the games during the season. Dig into wings, burgers, or the house battered chicken fingers with a cold drink. That ought to be enough to kick off your game time fun.

A Harbor Walk favorite, open air, with your favorite beers, buckets, wings, and NFL Sunday.

The Green Parrot
Music, drinks, football, and popcorn. Life is good at this local bar, and it is hard to beat the Green Parrot on a Sunday. No Snivelling. Do know that music is the focus.

Four Marlins at The Reach
Four Marlins takes Saturday and Sunday games during the season, starting at noon, and they want to be your football destination. Ice-cold drinks and game day bites, on the ocean side of the island.
Viva Argentinian Steakhouse
In recent years it has become known as a Cleveland Browns bar. Don’t miss the empanadas. Fun drinks, a good food menu, and a relaxed Duval Street room make this a fine place to watch a game.

White Street Pizza
A pizza place rather than a bar. If you are dining there you could catch an afternoon or evening game. They have told me that they have the games on, so you can enjoy some pizza and a couple of cold ones at the same time. Time your visit with happy hour and you will be doing it right.
Gameday order: pepperoni pizza gets me happy
Portside Bar & Grill
Out at the Perry Marina on Stock Island, Portside is showing every game, all season, on every screen in the place. Worth knowing if you are staying out that way and don’t want to drive into town for a 1 pm kickoff. Happy hour runs daily from 3 to 6.

Where to Catch a Game Up the Keys
Geiger Key Marina Restaurant
The closest of the up-the-Keys options, and it offers NFL Sunday Ticket and specials. Happy hour runs Sunday at the bar only, 4 to 6, with drink and food specials while the game is on.
Tonio’s Seafood Shack & Tiki Bar
NFL games with the NFL Sunday Ticket, a special menu, and 11 screens in a laid-back Keys setting. Gather your friends for football Sunday well away from Duval.
Looe Key Tiki Bar
The Tiki has all your football games for the season. Stop by for a college game on Saturday or your NFL team on Sunday. Game day menu, all specials all day. Games are on preset televisions, so get there early for both the seat and the drink specials.

Baseball, Hockey, and Soccer in Key West
Baseball. The postseason is the season here. Celtic Conch is the Phillies room, and when Philadelphia makes it in, October there is worth planning around. Anywhere with the packages will put a playoff game on if you ask, and most places have it running on the side screens by then anyway.
Hockey. Pickles Pub carries a good slate of games, and Celtic Conch has the Flyers on. The season opens September 29 and runs to April.
Basketball. It turns up mostly at playoff time in the spring, and Pickles or Jack Flats are the places to ask.
Premier League soccer. Pickles, Brady’s and Jack Flats are the best bets. The obstacle is the clock rather than the televisions. England runs five hours ahead for most of the season, so a 3 pm kickoff there is 10 am here and the early Saturday game is 7:30 am. Most places don’t open until 11, which makes the Sunday late match and Monday night fixtures the realistic ones. The gap narrows to four hours between October 25 and November 1, and again in mid-March, when the clocks change on different weekends on each side of the Atlantic.
