Happy Hour Review at Two Friends Patio Restaurant

The star of this happy hour is the steamed Key West peel-and-eat pink shrimp. You can have your full-pound or a half-pound cooked to order and served with drawn butter, cocktail sauce, lemon wedge, and real horseradish.

(My friend Joe said, “I need a utensil to mix the horseradish with the cocktail sauce.” I replied, “No, you don’t. You already have one; use the shrimp tail.” He thought this was brilliant!)

I have heard many raves about the Conch Fritters and finally got around to trying out a plate. They were surprisingly delicious! I enjoyed the lightly coated batter and the crispiness in each bite.

These fritters were airy, not dense, and not overly done with filler like others I have had. I wish the dipping sauce differed, but I enjoyed these conch fritters with copious squeezes of lemon.

The Happy Hour Margarita is delightful and will hit the right spot and help you to cool down. You could also go for the drink of Key West and try out a Frozen Rum Runner.

I used the bar card to work through a few cocktails before happy hour began, such as the Key Lime Colada and Key Lime Martini. A little Key West Bar Card pregaming followed up with fantastic happy hour vibes.

Next visit, I’ll get to the crab bisque, wings, and probably a rum runner. We tried the chicken tenders, but they were a bit over, dark, and in the fryer too long that day.

The kitchen occasionally brings out a unique complimentary item to share at the bar. One day it was half chicken sandwiches with fries. My friend once had pizza offered, and on another visit, mozzarella sticks.
